52. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF AVONDALE FOR HOMELESSNESS PROGRAMS Approve Amendment No. 4 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Avondale (“Contractor”) and Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Contractor to provide temporary emergency shelter services to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Avondal e area. The Contractor and the County shall be referred to as the Parties. The purpose of the Amendment is to address the following: A. Extend the Agreement term for an additional one-year term, beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 (“Renewal Peri od No. 3”). The County shall provide the Contractor with a not-to-exceed amount of $107,500 in Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) fiscal year 2023 funds for the extension period. Funding availability under this Amendment No. 4 shall begin on July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. B. Revise Section I (General Provisions), Section II (Special Provisions), Section IV (Compensation), and Section V (Attachments) to add required contract language, address the invoice process, and incorporate a new operation budge t for fiscal year 2023. C. Revise Section III (Work Statement), Paragraph 1.0 (Scope of Work), to remove the Scope of Work in its entirety as addressed in the original Agreement. In the revised Scope of Work, the Contractor will continue providing tempora ry emergency shelter services, outreach and case management to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Avondale area. The Agreement is amended to incorporate the changes contained in this Amendment No. 4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreeme nt and previously approved Amendments shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect as executed by the Parties. Amendment No. 4 shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties. FY 2023: $107,500 Expenditures Supervisory District 5 ( C-22-19-037-3-04)
