51. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF SURPRISE FOR HOMELESSNESS PROGRAMS Approve Amendment No. 3 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) with the City of Surprise (“Contractor”) and Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Depar tment. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Contractor to provide temporary emergency shelter services to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Surprise area. The Contractor and the County shall be referred to as the Parties. The purpose of the Amendment is to address the following: A. Extend the Agreement for an additional one-year term, beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 (“Renewal Period No. 3”). The County shall provide the Contractor with a not to exceed amount of $100,000 in Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) fiscal year 2023 funding for the extension period. Funding availability under this Amendment No. 3 shall begin on July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. B. Revise Section I (General Provisions), Section II (Special Provis ions), Section IV (Compensation), and Section V (Attachments) to add required contract language, address the invoice process, and incorporate a new operation budget for fiscal year 2023. The Agreement is amended to incorporate the changes contained in thi s Amendment No. 3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement and previously approved Amendments shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect as executed by the Parties.
