63. AMENDMENT TO THE IGA WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3 AND THE CITY OF TEMPE Approve financial Amendment No.2 to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 (“District”), the City of Tempe (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”), administered by its Human Services Department Early Education Division. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish a collaboration between the Parties that will address expanding high-quality pre-school in the City of Tempe and the District’s boundaries. Upon approval of Amendment No. 2, (“Renewal Term #2”) no renewal terms remain. The County will provide funding that will help to increase instructional annual hours for enrolled Head Start children. The purpose of the Amendment No. 2 is to address the following: A. The Agreement shall be extended and effective from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. B. Revise Paragraph 6.0 (Funding), Subparagraph 6.1 to establish cost reimbursement amount of $133,120 for the period of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. C. Revise Paragraph 11.0 (Compensation), to update reimbursement terms. D. Modify Paragraph 12.0 (Locations Where Services Will be Provided) to identify Head Start classroom address, age of children and number of children. E. Add Paragraph 22.0 (Survival) All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement and Amendment No. 1 remain the same and in full force and effect as approved and amended. The Agreement shall be effective upon approval and signature by all Parties. This Agreement does not impact the County General funds.
