51. AGREEMENT WITH TEMPE COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) between the Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) and Maricopa County (County), administered by its Human Services Department, Workforce Development Division for workforce development services. The TCAA and the County are collectively referred to herein as the “Parties” and individually as “Party.” The Agreement shall begin August 19, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The Agreement may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year terms upon acceptance and approval by the Parties. The purpose of this Agreement is to integrate the County’s workforce development system into the TCAA’s social and community services resource network. The Parties agree to support workforce development and training efforts that will enable the TCAA’s to provide adult and youth job search, resume assistance and conducts work readiness evaluations and assessments, categorically identified as workforce services. Service activities shall be delivered within the TCAA’s resource area located at 2146 East Apache Boulevard, Tempe, AZ 85281 (“TCAA’s resource area”). A Workforce Development staff will be utilized to provide services under this Agreement, as a Career Advisor (CA). Supervisor District: 1 The TCAA shall compensate the County on an annual basis, a portion of the service delivery: • August 19, 2020 to June 30, 2021 not to exceed $21,052.
