1. INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING AGREEMENT AND MOU WITH MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD AND ITS WORKFORCE INNOVATION & OPPORTUNITY ACT PARTNERS Request approval for the following actions: 1. Approve a Infrastructure Funding Agreement (IFA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), (the “Agreement”) between Maricopa County of Supervisors, the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) mandated Partners. The purpose of the Agreement and MOU is to identify roles, responsibilities, and costs contributed by WIOA mandated Partners to the operation of the Maricopa County Workforce Development One-Stop system. 2. Request authorization for the Chairman to sign all documents related to the IFA and MOU. 3. Request authorization for the Human Services Department (D220) Director to sign the IFA and MOU as the representative for the Human Services Department for any Department programs or services. Maricopa County operates two Comprehensive One-Stop Career Centers (ARIZONA@WORK-Maricopa County) to conduct WIOA activities. Partners located in the Career Centers contribute to the operating costs of the Career Centers. Partners not located in the Career Centers, contribute to the Maricopa County Workforce Development One-Stop system by identifying the costs associated in providing WIOA activities. Through this action, the approved Agreement shall supersede the previously approved IFA and MOU. The Agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2020 and effective until June 30, 2023.
