57. ACCESS POINT AGREEMENTS Approve two substantially similar, non-financial Access Point Agreements “Agreements.” The Agreements shall be between Community-Based Organization (CBO) or with Government entities and Maricopa County administered by the Human Services Department Workforce Development Division, Arizona@Work – Maricopa County. The purpose of the Agreements is to establish a system by which the CBOs and the Government entities contract with Maricopa County to be recognized as Access Points locations where community members and residents have the opportunity to conduct job-search activities. The Workforce Development staff will work to identify local organizations that are willing to participate as a designated Access Point location. The Agreements shall be effective from date of full execution through June 30, 2023 with the option to renew for two additional two-year terms. The Agreements are subject to statutory language of A.R.S. §38-511 and incorporate the same by reference. Also request approval and authorization for the Human Services Department Director to sign the Access Point Agreements. This approval will allow for Access Points to be up and running as soon as agreements are fully executed without the delay in waiting for a formal Board of Supervisors meeting date. Prior to execution, all Access Point agreements will be processed for approval by the Human Services assigned attorney. Fully executed Agreements will be submitted to the Clerk of the Board’s office for filing. Supervisory District: All (C-22-21-062-X-00)
