43. MOU WITH PREVENT CHILD ABUSE ARIZONA FOR POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM TRAINING Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Prevent Child Abuse Arizona (PCA AZ), an Arizona non-profit corporation, and Maricopa County (County), administered by its Human Services Department, Early Education Division. The purpose of this MOU is to describe the collaborative relationship and shared commitment between PCA AZ and the County under the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) State Opioid Response (SOR) FY21 Positive Parenting Program© (Triple P) training opportunity. PCA AZ shall provide training to County staff on the Triple P training curriculum which will be integrated in the Head Start program. While recognizing the shared commitment, this collaborative relationship does not involve an exchange of funds and either party may withdraw at any time at its discretion and, for such reasons, it is not meant to be treated as a formal, binding agreement. The duration of this collaborative relationship begins April 5, 2021 and continues through the term of the current GOYFF SOR Triple P funding, which ends September 30, 2021. Authorize the Chairman to sign the MOU. Approval of this item will not impact the County General Fund. Supervisory District: All (C-22-21-114-X-00)
