40. IGA WITH THE CITY OF SURPRISE FOR SAFETY LOCKBOXES Approve an intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Surprise (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the City of Surprise to install Safety Lockboxes for Seniors or disabled Adults that may require special care, welfare checks and/or emergency services. The County shall pay for the costs of the installation of the Safety Lockboxes by the City’s Fire Department. The costs for each Safety Lockbox installation is $65 dollars. Costs for each fiscal year shall not exceed $2,000 and the total agreement amount is $10,000. The Agreement term is November 3, 2021 through June 30, 2026. Supervisor District: 4 (C-22-22-041-X-00)
