34. ASSIGNMENT OF U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE (ERA 1.0) FUNDS TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT Request approval and receipt of reallocated Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA 1.0) funds from the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the amount of $39,000,000 to Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. Also request authorization for the Human Services Department Director to submit financial and data reports on behalf of the County to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The funding will be utilized to assist eligible renter households impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic, with direct financial assistance including rent, rental arrears, utilities and home energy costs, utilities and home energy costs arears, and other expenses related to housing.
