61. IGA WITH THE CITY OF SURPRISE FOR ARPA FUNDS Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) between the City of Surprise (Subrecipient) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the County to provide Subrecipient with $18,000 ,000 in Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 21.027, American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds provided to the County through the U.S. Department of Treasury. The funds will be utilized to build a general administr ation building for City of Surprise services to include a multi-generational Community Resource Center (“CRC”). Services provided in the building will help to strengthen the immediate and long-term health and economic resilience of residents in the northwe st valley, fostering a stronger, more inclusive and equitable recovery for the northwest valley. The Agreement term begins on April 1, 2022 through December 31, 2025. Also request authorization for the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to approve and execute Administrative Change Orders upon the recommendation of the Human Services Director and Legal Counsel as identified in Paragraph 5 (ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGE ORDERS).
