81. CONTRACT WITH AREA AGENCY ON AGING, REGION ONE, INCORPORATED FOR SENIOR SERVICES Approve a financial Contract for services between Area Agency on Aging, Region One, Incorporated (Area Agency), and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department (Contractor). The purpose of the Contract is for the County to provide case management services and facilitate services to assist eligible seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain independence in their homes. Area Agency shall provide the County with a Contract amount of $2,389,172 for service delivery. The Contract term is retroactive to July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 and shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties. Funding period of availability shall begin July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. Receipt of the funds from Area Agency requires the County to provide a non-federal cash amount. The County shall provide a non-federal cash amount of $1,616,768 provided by the Human Services Department appropriated County General funds. The County shall also allocate $745,109 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for the Contract term. The cumulative Contract amount is $4,751,049. Area Agency contracts with the County on an annual reoccurring, non-competitive basis to provide Senior Adult Independent Living (SAIL) services to eligible individuals currently living at home that may require assistance to reduce the probability of placement in nursing homes.
