80. PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY EVENTS AND AUTHORIZATION TO DESIGNATE INDIVIDUAL TO COMPLETE APPLICATIONS Request approval of the following: 1. Authorize the Human Services Department Director to designate an individual authorized to submit 2nd Sundays on Mill Ave Nonprofit/Community Partner Application, the application is allows for community partners serving the Tempe community to participate in the community event on a monthly basis, every 2nd Sunday of the month through March 2023. Applications must be submitted online through Eventeny.com. 2. Participation in the event requires acceptance of and sign off on terms and conditions: Terms & Conditions Laws/Codes/Rules- Applicants must comply with all Market, municipal and state laws, rules, regulations and policies listed in this application, or policies included in the application acceptance notification. Any noncompliance will cause elimination and applicant may be immediately removed from the Festival with no refund of fees. Hold Harmless – By Completing application and engaging in participation, all applicants release and hold harmless Downtown Tempe Foundation, Inc., the Market on Mill, the City of Tempe, Maricopa County, the State of Arizona, and all event sponsors from any and all liability, as outlined in the rules and regulations. 3. By approving the Human Services Department Director to authorize an individual to submit an application to participant in the 2nd Sunday s event will provide opportunities for community partners to learn about the services provided by the department. This will aide in community members being able to access needed supports and services. Monthly participation costs is $30. Special Event Information: Event: 2nd Sundays on Mill Ave Date: January 8, 2023 and every 2nd Sunday of 2023 Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Location: 5th St and Mill Ave, Tempe, Arizona Role of County: Vendor to provide information and resources to participants.
