42. AGREEMENT WITH TOOTH BUDDS, INC FOR ORAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR HEAD START PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS Approve a non-financial Agreement between Tooth BUDDS, Inc., (“Contractor”) and Maricopa Count administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Contract is for Contractor to provide Oral Health Services to Head Start Program participants by conducting onsite oral health services to Head Start program participants at Head Start program locations to include exams/screenings, prophylaxis (cleaning), possible x-rays and restorative care, fluoride treatments, dental sealants as needed, along with providing dental outreach to students and their families to encourage preventative oral health activities. The Agreement term will begin May 1, 2023, through May 1, 2025. This non-financial Agreement will not impact the County General Fund. Services provided by the Contractor shall be identified and reported to the Office of Head Start as in-kind match required by Maricopa County Head Start program.
