46. IGA WITH THE CITY OF SCOTTSDALE FOR HEAT RELIEF AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS Approve financial Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Scottsdale (Subrecipient) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Subrecipient to conduct the following activities to assist homeless individuals in the Scottsdale area. • Scottsdale Day and Emergency Shelter Programs to include case management services • Heat Relief Transportation • Water Distribution The County shall provide the Subrecipient with a total of $682,207 in funding for activities. The funds provided are $634,000 in ARPA Funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 21.027 and provided to the County through the U.S. Department of Treasury and $48,207 in Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) under ALN 93.569 provided to the County through an Intergovernmental Agreement with Arizona Department of Economic Security. Total Agreement amount shall not exceed $682,207 for the following activities: • $648,207 Day and Emergency Shelter Programs and case management • $31,000 Heat Relief Transportation • $3,000 Heat Relief Water Distribution The Agreement term is April 26, 2023, through September 30, 2026. The Agreement may be extended, as long as the Subrecipient is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement. Also request authorization for the Chairman to approve and execute Administrative Change Orders upon the recommendation of the Human Services Director and Legal Counsel as identified in Section 5.0 (Administrative Change Orders).
