44. IGA WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX FOR HEAT RELIEF SERVICES FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS Approve financial Intergovernmental Agreement between with the City of Phoenix (Subrecipient) and Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is to expand daytime heat relief shelter services for individuals experiencing homelessness in the downtown Phoenix area and the Sunnyslope area. The Subrecipient shall provide respite centers and case management services to individuals. It is anticipated that approximately 140 individuals will receive services on a daily basis between May and September 2023. The County shall provide the Subrecipient with $1,015,000 in American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery (ARPA) Funds under the Assistance Listing Number 21.027. The term of the Agreement is from April 26, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Supervisory District: 3 (C-22-23-085-X-00)
