67. AMEND IGA WITH THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY Approve non-financial Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between Maricopa County administered by its Human Services Department (“County”) and The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Maricopa (IDAMC) (“Subrecipient”). The purpose of the Agreement is for the Subrecipient to provide homebuyer affordability opportunities for low-to-moderate income families through the Home In Five Homebuyers Assistance Program (the “Program”). The County provided the Subrecipient with $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 21.027 provided to the County through the U.S. Department of Treasury to expand the homebuyer assistance program throughout Maricopa County. The Agreement term began July 26, 2023, through February 28, 2025. The purpose of Amendment No. 1 is to address the following: A. Revise Paragraph 2.0 (Purpose) of the Agreement to address the number of families to be assisted with homebuyer opportunities. B. Revise Paragraph 3.0 (Term of the Agreement) to address new Agreement term through December 31, 2025, and extension period. C. Revise Paragraph 8.0 (Responsibilities of the Organization) which addresses assisting eligible homebuyers with down payments and closing costs. D. Revise Paragraph 13.0 (Notices) with an updated point of contact for IDAMC E. Added required agreement clauses. F. Revise the Work Statement (Exhibit A) in its entirety and replace with an updated Work Statement. This Amendment shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties.
