60. IGA WITH THE CITY OF GOODYEAR FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Goodyear (“Subrecipient”) and Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is to increase affordable rental housing in the Goodyear area. Through this Agreement, 261 new affordable rental units for seniors will be built in the Goodyear area. The County shall provide the Subrecipient with $2,000,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds provided to the County through the U.S. Department of Treasury under the Assistance Listing Number 21.027. The Agreement term is retroactive to December 6, 2023, through June 30, 2026. Also request authorization for the Chairman to approve and execute Administrative Change Orders upon the recommendation of the Human Services Director and Legal Counsel as identified in Section 5.0 (Administrative Change Orders).
