86. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH CITY OF GLENDALE FOR SHELTER INFRASTRUCTURE Approve non-financial Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) between the City of Glendale (Subrecipient) and Maricopa County (County) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is to address the need for shelter infrastructure and services for Veterans and their families who are homeless and at-risk in Maricopa County. The Subrecipient will expand availability of shelter for veterans who may be homeless. The Subrecipient will construct 50 transitional housing units at 6324 NW Grand Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301, and provide wrap-around services to residents. The County provided Subrecipient with $3,000,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) under the Assistance Listing Number 21.027, provided to the County by the US Department of Treasury. The term of the Agreement is January 1, 2024, through September 30, 2026. The purpose of this Amendment No. 1 is to address the following A. Extend the Agreement expiration date from September 30, 2026, to December 31, 2026. B. Revisions to the Agreement to address the following: 1. Add Federal Award Identification Number (FAIN) and date to the Agreement 2. Amend the term of the Agreement from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026. 3. Added required Agreement language 4. Update County Point of Contact 5. Revise Insurance Provisions 6. Revise and Replace the Scope of Work All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect as executed by the Parties.
