57. IGA WITH TOWN OF WICKENBURG FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the Town of Wickenburg (“Subrecipient”) and Maricopa County the (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Subrecipient to complete improvements to water quality and flow by replacing water main transmission lines and sewer lines. Replacements will also be made to ageing fire hydrants, curbs, gutters, ramps, and pavement to meet ADA compliance standards. These improvements will create improvements in the Town’s water delivery system and safer sidewalks. The County will provide the Subrecipient with $400,000 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year/Fiscal Year 2024/2025 (PY/FY 24/25) funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 14.218. The term of this Agreement shall commence October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2026. Also request authorization for the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute Administrative Change Orders, as listed in Section 1 General Provisions, Paragraph 5.0. 107. The term of this Agreement is October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2026. The purpose of this Amendment No. 1 is to address the following: A. In Section III (Work Statement), revise and replace Paragraph 5.0 (Budget). B. Increase Agreement funding by $318,457.41 in (HUD) Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 14.218 for a new total Agreement funding amount of $718,457.41 in HUD CDBG-CV funds.
