78. IGA WITH TOWN OF GILA BEND FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the Town of Gila Bend (“Subrecipient”) and Maricopa County the (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Subrecipient to replace 2,392 LF (Linear Foot) of asbestos cement pipe with C-900 PVC segments. The PVC segments are to be replaced in the following locations: 1) Papago Street (located in alley behind houses) from Dodson to Weidner; 2) Papago Street (located in alley behind houses) from Weidner to Johnny Street; and 3) Weidner Avenue: from Papago Street to Hunt Avenue. The Subrecipient shall provide the services identified in the Scope of Work. These activities meet CDBG program’s National Objectives as defined in 24 CFR § 570.208. The County will provide the Subrecipient with $365,180 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year/Fiscal Year 2025/2026 (PY/FY 25/26) funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 14.218. The term of this Agreement is November 1, 2025, through November 1, 2027. Supervisory District: 5 (C-22-26-018-X-00)
