79. IGA WITH TOWN OF GUADALUPE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES Approve a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the Town of Guadalupe (“Subrecipient”) and Maricopa County the (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department. The purpose of the Agreement is for the Subrecipient to remove and replace a total of 16 existing streetlights, and 18 new lights will be added, for a total of 34 streetlights to be installed. Mounting new LED fixtures (energy cost savings of roughly 50%) on higher poles and decreasing the distance between each pole will provide enhanced lighting for the neighborhood streets, thus improving neighborhood safety and security. The Subrecipient shall provide the services identified the Scope of Work. These activities meet CDBG program’s National Objectives as defined in 24 CFR § 570.208. The County will provide the Subrecipient with $423,300 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year/Fiscal Year 2025/2026 (PY/FY 25/26) funds under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 14.218.
