45. DONATIONS (Supervisorial District: ALL) In accordance with Maricopa County Policy A2508, accept the donation report from the Human Services Department. The Human Services Department Early Education Division will receive a donation of Thanksgiving Food Baskets, total value estimated at $1,000. Through this donation, comprised of 20 Thanksgiving food baskets, each containing a $25 gift card for turkey or ham and other canned and boxed side dishes, families will be able to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. These baskets will be gifted to benefit enrolled Maricopa County Head Start children and families at the County’s Stevenson Elementary Head Start Classroom located in Mesa, Arizona. The donation received from The Woman of the Moose, Chapter 1853 and The Moose Lodge 2082, both located in East Mesa, Arizona, will be used to report to the Office of Head Start for Head Start grant’s required Non-Federal Share/In-Kind received by Maricopa County Head Start program. The receipt of the donation does not obligate the County to any future commitments or obligations. (C-22-27-014-X-00)
