72. REVISIONS TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY CITIZENS’ AUDIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE CHARTER Approve revisions to the Maricopa County Citizens’ Audit Advisory Committee Charter. As provided in the Board-approved Maricopa County Citizens’ Audit Advisory Committee Charter (Charter), the committee reviewed the charter and is seeking approval of recommended revisions. The committee approved the recommended revisions and authorized the Internal Audit Department to submit the recommendations on the committee’s behalf (approved at 5/17/23 committee meeting). The primary purpose for the revisions is to change the name to Maricopa County Audit Advisory Committee, update terminology, provide clarification, and adjust member qualifications to provide the Board of Supervisors more flexibility in its future appointments of committee members. The Charter’s original adoption date was 3/26/1997 and last amended 6/24/2002. (C-23-23-001-X-00)
