27. ONE TIME CONTINGENCY REQUEST FOR SALARY SAVINGS ADJUSTMENT In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2014 budget: a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Other Programs (4712) in the line "Elected Official and Judicial Branch Unmet Personnel Savings from Chairman's Budget Balancing Adjustment " by an amount not-to-exceed $208,895; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the Justice Courts (240) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) by an amount not-to-exceed $208,895. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Improved employee retention due to an increase in the justice clerk series market range has resulted in a lower than budgeted salary savings for the Justice Courts. The requested funds have been set aside for this purpose in the FY 2014 Non Recurring budget. (C-24-14-004-2-00)
