28. CONSTABLE REQUEST FOR REVIEW OVER THRESHOLD Per the Board approved FY 2015 Budget Guidelines and Priorities, approve allowing the Office of Management & Budget to review the following request(s) over threshold: Request reinstatement of the Chairman's cut of $28,442 taken in FY14 to be restored in FY15. (Operating expense, Fund 100, Priority #4) Request $1,000 for the purchase of 100 boxes of ammunition for the purpose of Constable firearm qualification. (Operating expense, Fund 100, Priority #3) Request $3500 for the purchase of 4 ballistic vests at the purchase price of $877 each for newly elected Constables and vest replacements. (Operating Expense, Fund 100, Priority #4) Constables and certified deputies are required to qualify with their duty weapons every year, thus necessitating the need to provide ammunition. Newly elected Constables are issued fitted ballistic vests as part of their regular equipment. FY 15 election campaign may vote in several new constables. (C-25-14-010-2-00)
