11. GRANT AWARD FROM CONSTABLE ETHICS, STANDARDS AND TRAINING BOARD Authorize Maricopa County through the Constables to submit approximately three applications to Constable Ethics, Standards and Training Board for purchase of equipment. Authorize the Chairman to approve the receipt of all such funds awarded during FY 15 as a result of the corresponding grant requests. The total amount of funds requested will not exceed $29,568.76. Unless otherwise indicated, all overhead/indirect costs are allowable, and the FY 15 authorized rate will be applied to the respective grants. A Grant Agenda Indirect Cost Calculation Form, attached to each Notice of Intent, provides detail on indirect cost recovery. For computation purposes, the Department’s authorized indirect rate is 6.8%, for total estimated indirect costs of $2,011.00. Upon receipt of funds and pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17106(B), approve revenue and expenditure authority appropriation adjustments the Constables (250) General Fund (100) associated with these grants in an amount not-to-exceed $29,568.76 for FY 15. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
