11. OFFICIAL APPOINTMENT AND OATH OF OFFICE Pursuant to A.R.S. §22-131.C, approve the official appointment of Deputy Constable Joseph L. Martinez by Jimmie Munoz, Constable of the South Mountain Justice Court Precinct, effective March 30, 2015. Authorize the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to certify the Official Appointment and Oath of Office in accordance with A. R. S. § 38-231. Joseph L. Martinez is an AZPOST-certified police officer. A.R.S. 22-131.C--Constables, with the consent of and at salaries fixed by the board of supervisors, may appoint deputies who are certified pursuant to section 41-1822, subsection A, paragraph 3, stenographers, clerks and assistants necessary to conduct the affairs of their offices.
