22. FIX THE SALARIES OF THE CONSTABLES IN 17 JUSTICE PRECINCTS Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-424.01 (A) fix the salaries of the Constables in 17 justice precincts. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-424.01 (B), fix the salary of the Constable in Ironwood at sixteen thousand five hundred dollars commencing a four-year term on January 1, 2023. The average number of documents served over the previous four years is less than 100. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-424.01 (C)(5), fix the salaries of Constables in Agua Fria, Arrowhead, Downtown, East Mesa, Encanto, Hassayampa, Kyrene, Manistee, McDowell Mountain, North Valley, San Marcos, South Mountain, University Lakes, West McDowell, West Mesa, and White Tank at forty-eight thousand two hundred ninety-four and sixty-seven thousand dollars commencing a four-year term on January 1, 2023. These Constables, upon their first election, will receive salaries of forty-eight thousand two hundred ninety-four dollars. Upon their re-election, these Constables will receive salaries of sixty-seven thousand dollars. Constables in these precincts set for salary adjustments serve an average of more than 100 documents per year over the previous four years and have more than 16,000 registered voters. The Constables will return to the Board with additional action to adjust the FY2022-2023 budget based on the outcome of the election. The remaining Constable Precincts are not up for re-election and do not meet the criteria for salary adjustments. (C-25-22-014-X-00)
