24. PERMANENT ADDITION TO FLEET – CONSTABLES Approve the FY25 purchase of a mid-size SUV as a permanent addition to fleet to bring the constable vehicle asset inventory to whole. For the constable’s vehicle fleet to be whole, a vehicle shall be available to each constable and deputy constable for a total of 35 vehicles. The vehicle will be purchased and maintained by the General Fund. This addition to fleet is to complete state-mandated service of process duties, A.R.S. §22-131(A). Cost Estimates: • Purchase Cost (From Equipment Services Fleet Management): $45,984 • Upfit Cost (From Equipment Services Onboarding Supervisor): $5,000 • Total Estimated Cost: $50,984 • Estimated Annual Operating Expense: $5,595 Special Requests/Exemptions: Minimal markings: Constable star, American flag, amber lights front and back with switch Budget Approval: This request has been reviewed and aligns with the approved budget for FY 2025.
