19. FIX THE SALARIES OF CONSTABLES IN 18 JUSTICE PRECINCTS Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-424.01(A) & (C)5, fix the salaries of constables in 17 justice precincts: Agua Fria, Arrowhead, Canyon Trails, El Centro, East Mesa, Encanto, Hassayampa, Kyrene, Manistee, McDowell Mountain, North Valley, San Marcos, South Mountain, University Lakes, West McDowell, West Mesa and White Tank at $75,000 commencing a four-year term on January 1, 2027. Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-424.01(A) & (C)4, fix the salary of one constable in the Ironwood precinct at $56,000 commencing a four-year term on January 1, 2027. The remaining 9 constable precincts are not up for re-election and do not meet the criteria for salary adjustments. A.R.S. §11-424.01(A) states: “At the regular June meeting of the several boards of supervisors preceding a general election, the boards shall fix the salaries of constables to be elected for the four-year period commencing on the first day of the following January.” A.R.S. §11-424.01 (C) states: “C. In precincts with an average of more than one hundred documents served per year by a constable over the previous four years, as reported on the constable standardized daily activity logs, the constables shall be paid as follows:” A.R.S. §11-424.01 (C)4 states. “In precincts with twelve thousand or more registered voters but fewer than sixteen thousand registered voters, annual salaries of not less than $41,000 or more than $56,000.” A.R.S. §11-424.01 (C)5 states: “In precincts with sixteen thousand or more registered voters, annual salaries of not less than $55,000 or more than $75,000.” (C-25-26-008-X-00)
