22. SETTLEMENT WITH ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL Approve the confidential settlement agreement between St. Joseph's Hospital and Maricopa County that settles certain claims, controversies and disputes related to correctional healthcare issues in litigation: Cause No. CV2009-001167, consistent with the terms of the respective Settlement Agreement, which was reviewed in Executive Session on February 8, 2010. Pursuant to discussion with counsel in Executive Session and with reference to the lawsuit lis ted above, it is requested the Board approve the proposed settlement consistent with the terms of the Settlement Agreement under which Maricopa County will pay the settlement amount to St. Joseph's.
