A-5. SETTLEMENT WITH ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL Approve the confidential settlement agreement between St. Joseph's Hospital and Maricopa County that settles certain claims, controversies and disputes related to correctional healthcare issues in litigation: which was reviewed in Executive Session on November 14, 2011. Pursuant to discussion with counsel in Executive Session and with reference to the lawsuit listed above, it is requested that the Board approve the proposed settlement consistent with the terms of the Settlement Agreement under which Maricopa County will pay the settlement amount to St. Joseph's. This item was heard in Executive Session on November 14, 2011. (C-26-12-004-S-00)
