38. MOU WITH MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FOR ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Maricopa County Sherriff's Office and Maricopa County through the Department of Correctional Health Services, for the purpose of governing the operation and parties’ participation in the exchange and documentation of information from MCSO into TechCare™, an Electronic Health Records (EHR) application operated and maintained by CHS. The exchange of information is necessary to providing coordinated care and planning to individuals within MCSO facilities. This MOU is non-financial and is effective for ten (10) years from the day it is fully executed unless terminated by either party with or without cause. (C-26-17-004-3-00)

9. MOU BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AND MARICOPA COUNTY CORRECTIONAL HEALTH SERVICES INFORMATION SHARING Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Maricopa County Correctional Health Services and Maricopa County through the Sheriff's Office, for the purpose of governing the operation and parties’ participation in the exchange and documentation of information from MCSO into TechCare™, an Electronic Health Records (EHR) application operated and maintained by CHS. The exchange of information is necessary to providing coordinated care and planning to individuals within MCSO facilities. This Memorandum of Understanding is non-financial and is effective from fully executed until ten (10) years unless terminated by either party with or without cause. This MOU was initially approved by the Board of Supervisors in January 2017 in agenda number #C-26-17-004-3-00, submitted by Correctional Health. The necessary language for sharing criminal justice information and disposal of electronic inmate data has been incorporated in the attached MOU.
