54. AGREEMENT BETWEEN SOUTHWEST BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES AND MARICOPA COUNTY To approve an agreement between Southwest Behavioral Health Services (SWBHS) and Maricopa County to establish a program to increase access to Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”), Opioid Use Disorder (“OUD”) recovery support services, and opioid prevention awareness for incarcerated patients transitioning to the community. This Agreement shall begin upon approval by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and shall terminate one year thereafter unless otherwise terminated or amended as provided herein. By mutual written amendment executed by the Parties’ authorized representatives, this Agreement may be extended for supplemental periods of twelve (12) months, up to maximum of forty-eight (48) months There are no financial responsibilities assigned by this Agreement; the Agreement is intended to allow CBI and CHS to work together to better address the needs of the community. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to be a commitment or obligation of funds, personnel, or other resources by either party. (C-26-23-010-X-00)

49. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHWEST BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES (SWBHS) Approve Amendment #1 to the Agreement between Maricopa County (County) and Southwest Behavioral Health Services (SWBHS) to extend the term for a twelve (12) month period. In 2022, Correctional Health Services (CHS) and SWBHS entered into an agreement to establish a program aimed at increasing access to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) recovery support services, and raising awareness about opioid prevention for individuals transitioning from incarceration to the community. There is no financial impact to either party assigned by this Agreement; the Agreement is intended to allow SWBHS and CHS to work together to better address the needs of the community. This agreement aims to establish a program aimed at increasing access to Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) recovery support services, and raising awareness about opioid prevention for individuals transitioning from incarceration to the community.
