36. FY 2026 BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR ITR PILOT PROGRAM Pursuant to A.R.S §42-17106(B), approve the following FY 2026 appropriation adjustments. 1. Increase the Correctional Health Services (D260) Detention Operations Fund (255) Operating (OPER) expenditure budget $600,000. 2. Decrease the Correctional Health Services (D260) Detention Operations Fund (255) CHS Graves Judgement Operating (GRV0) expenditure budget by $600,000. Correctional Health Services received a one-time appropriation for a pilot program to expand nursing staff at the Intake, Transfer and Release facility (ITR) in order to reduce inmate booking times. This program exceeded expectations as it reduced waiting times by 40%, however it was only funded for nine months. In order to continue the program for the rest of the fiscal year, surplus appropriations from GRV0 are required to provide the additional funding. These actions will have a net zero impact on the County-wide budget and do not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
