17. ONE TIME "NOT TO EXCEED" CONTINGENCY FOR JUVENILE KITCHEN EQUIPMENT In accordance with A.R.S. § 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2015 budget: a) Decrease the Non Departmental (470) Detention Fund (255) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Contingency (4711) "Unreserved Contingency" expenditure appropriation by an amount not-to-exceed $602,046; b) Increase the Juvenile Probation (270) Detention Fund (255) Juvenile Kitchen Equipment (JUV1) expenditure appropriation by an amount not-to-exceed $602,046 from $1,225,942 to not more than $1,827,988. Any savings associated with Detention Fund (255) operations within the Judicial Branch and Facilities Management Major Maintenance will be used to reduce the requested transfer. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. Approval of this action will provide the two secure Juvenile Detention Center facilities, operated by the Juvenile Probation Department, the additional funding necessary to fund the design and upgrades of the existing kitchen facilities at both facilities.
