38. OFFICE OF THE MEDICAL EXAMINER REQUEST FOR REVIEW OVER THRESHOLD Per the Board approved FY 2015 Budget Guidelines and Priorities, approve allowing the Office of Management & Budget to review the following request over threshold: Additional funding ($64,377) to create a Community Liaison/Social Worker position (Operating expense, Fund 100, Priority #4) A critical focal point for our department is our high volume of cases and communication with the families of decedents both of which affect customer satisfaction and magnifies the need for a single point of contact within the Office of the Medical Examiner. Creation of this “Community Liaison” position would require an increase in budget of $64,377 and is a high priority. (C-29-14-005-M-00)
