35. EXCEPTION TO SPECIAL WORK ASSIGNMENT PAY POLICY FOR THE OFFICE OF THE MEDICAL EXAMINER Approve an exception to the Policy No. B7001, Special Work Assignments (“SWA”) for the Office of the Medical Examiner. Pursuant to the SWA policy, an employee is eligible for SWA only after he/she has been in his/her position for 6 months. The exception would allow Medical Examiners; Dr. Amanda Maskovyak (Hire Date 7/25/16), Dr. Grant Herndon (Hire Date 7/25/16) and Dr. Caroline Cross (Hire Date 7/25/16) to receive Special Work Assignment pay even though they have been employed by Maricopa County for less than 6 months.
