78. RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR HERITAGE FUNDS DISTRIBUTED BY ARIZONA STATE PARKS BOARD Approve the authorization for the Parks and Recreation Department to apply to the Arizona State Parks Board for Heritage Fund programs for a five year period. If a grant award is made, authority to accept the funds will remain with the Board of Supervisors. Approval of the authorization will simplify the process of applying for grants since the Department will not require a Board action for each application. This authorization replaces a previous authorization (C-30-00-007-0-01-B) which termed in October 2009. The term of this authorization will be five years from the date approved by the Board of Supervisors (“Effective Date”). There is no financial impact. (C-30-10-020-3-00)
