83. TERMINATION OF COMMERICAL MANAGEMENT CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA OUTDOOR SPECIALISTS, INC., DBA ARIZONA OUTBACK ADVENTURES Approve the termination of the Commercial Management Concession Agreement (C-30-11-041-3-00) between Maricopa County and Arizona Outdoor Specialists, Inc., dba Arizona Outback Adventures (Concessionaire) on May 11, 2011, as amended (Agreement), and delegate authority to Director of Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department (MCPRD) or his designee to provide prior written termination notice to Concessionaire. The Agreement authorized the Concessionaire to manage, operate and maintain a concession within the Maricopa County Regional Park System. Termination will be effective as of December 1, 2020. This termination is requested by the Concessionaire, as the Concessionaire has merged with Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI). REI subsequently entered into a long-term Joint Program and Marketing Agreement with Maricopa County (C-30-20-009-M-00), covering the same concession activities that were in the original Agreement, among other things.
