40. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT In accordance with A.R.S.42-17106(B), approve an appropriation adjustment increasing the FY2011-2012 Parks and Recreation Department (300) Parks and Recreation Grant Fund (230) Non-Recurring (0001) revenues and expenditures in the amount of $4,820.00. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The adopted FY 2011-12 Budget did not include any expenditure authority in the Parks and Recreation Grant Fund (230). This Budget Adjustment will provide the necessary revenue and expenditure authority for the completion of one grant that did not close by June 30, 2011. (C-30-12-007-G-00)
