61. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS FOR MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF OUTDOOR RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES Approve Amendment One to Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the Town of Fountain Hills (C-30-12-014-03-00) (“Agreement”). Amendment One will extend the Agreement until December 15, 2021 and will make other administrative changes. The Agreement enabled the County, through its Parks and Recreation Department, and Town of Fountain Hills, through its McDowell Mountain Preservation Commission, to establish a mutually beneficial relationship to achieve common objectives for access through the McDowell Mountain Preserve and McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Amendment One will exercise the first five-year extension, commencing upon the expiration of the current term (December 15, 2016) and continuing until December 15, 2021 and makes other administrative changes.
