33. APPLICATION TO SEVER AND TRANSFER WATER RIGHTS FOR THE SPUR CROSS CONSERVATION AREA Approve an application by Maricopa County through the Parks and Recreation Department, for the purpose of severance and transfer of water rights of the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area related to Certificate of Water Rights No. 402 to Maricopa County. This Application is non-financial and is effective from November 30, 2011. There is no end date. When the State of Arizona, Maricopa County and the Town of Cave Creek acquired the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area on January 11, 2001, the surface water rights of the ranch were included in the transfer of title. No record however, was made of this transaction with the Arizona Department of Water Resources. This application will give the County full rights to Certificate of Water Rights No. 402.
