60. IGA WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX TO MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND MANAGE OUTDOOR RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between City of Phoenix, (135897-00) and Maricopa County through the Parks and Recreation Department, for the purpose of both parties desire to work for the common purpose of maintaining, improving, and managing outdoor recreation opportunities and educating the public regarding the same. This Intergovernmental Agreement is non-financial and is effective from June 19, 2013 until June 19, 2018. The Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Phoenix Parks Department will mutually provide assistance, when requested, with trail and open space maintenance, public education, playground safety inspections and improvement projects where appropriate. This Master Agreement will detail the process for the Parties to assist one another with programs, projects and activities that further the mission and vision of both entities. (C-30-13-024-3-00)
