42. NEW COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT CONCESSIONS AGREEMENT WITH CHRISTOPHER CAMPBELL, DBA CHRIS THE FOOD DUDE Approve a new Commercial Management Concessions Agreement with Christopher Campbell, dba Chris the Food Dude that will allow this Concessionaire to manage, operate and maintain a commercial food concession from land at all Parks and the waters of Lake Pleasant within the Maricopa County Regional Park System. Chris the Food Dude will provide upscale food items (breakfast, lunch items and snacks) as an additional service to the recreational public. Food sales will be conducted at each Park as well as on a pontoon boat at Lake Pleasant. The Concessionaire is responsible for all costs associated with the operation, maintenance, safety, as well as all licensing and permits. The term of this Agreement is from the date of the Board of Supervisors approval through December 31, 2014, with ten (10) one (1) year automatic renewals, unless either party gives prior notice of intent not to renew. 88. TERMINATION OF COMMERICAL MANAGEMENT CONCESSIONS AGREEMENT WITH CHRISTOPHER CAMPBELL, DBA CHRIS THE FOOD DUDE Approve the termination of the Commercial Management Concessions Agreement (C-30-14-029-M-00) entered into between Maricopa County and Christopher Campbell, dba Chris the Food Dude (Concessionaire), May 7, 2014 (Agreement), which authorized the Concessionaire to manage, operate and maintain a concession within the Maricopa County Regional Park System, and authorize Parks and Recreation Department staff to give formal notice to Concessionaire of the Agreement termination. This termination is based upon the nonperformance in operating the concession activities and failure to provide proof of insurance. Termination is per Section 2.6 Termination for Cause, Sub-section 2.6.3 “Unsatisfactory performance on the part of the Concessionaire or failure to comply with the provisions of this Agreement.” Termination will be effective on December 31, 2017. All activities for this concession were located in all Supervisory Districts. (C-30-14-029-M-01)
