38. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR PARKS & RECREATION GRANT Approve an increase in the appropriated expenditure budget for the Parks Department (D300) Parks Grants Fund (230), Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) in the amount of $25,000. The appropriation adjustment increases the Parks Grant Fund (230) expenditure budget to the amount of $59,696. The appropriation adjustment is necessary as the spending in FY 2017 will exceed the budgeted expenditure authority. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limit, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. (C-30-15-009-G-01)
