A-3. CENTRAL ARIZONA PROJECT LICENSE APPLICATION SUBMITTAL FOR MARICOPA TRAIL SEGMENT #12 Approve application submittal to Central Arizona Water Conservation District for the Land Use License Application for Maricopa Trail Segment #12. Approve submittal of application to Central Arizona Water Conservation District (aka Central Arizona Project “CAP”) for Land Use License associated with establishing the Maricopa Trail Segment #12 between Happy Valley Parkway and Lake Pleasant. Additionally, authorize the Chairman to execute and process the subject application documents on behalf of Maricopa County. A subsequent Board of Supervisors agenda item will be submitted for the anticipated CAP Land Use License associated with the Maricopa Trail Segment #12. Central Arizona Project has requested a resolution of the governing board identifying and authorizing the appropriate official to sign legal documents on behalf of the municipality. 31. LAND USE AND CONSTRUCTION PERIOD LICENSE WITH CENTRAL ARIZONA WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT FOR THE MARICOPA TRAIL SEGMENT #12 Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Land Use and Construction Period License (“License”) with Central Arizona Water Conservation District (aka Central Arizona Project “CAP”) for the County to operate and maintain 4.94 acres of CAP land for Maricopa Trail Segment #12, located between Happy Valley Parkway and Lake Pleasant Regional Park. On February 4, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved, and authorized the Chairman to execute, the application submittal to CAP for the License associated with this section of Maricopa Trail Segment #12 (#C-30-15-016-M-00). The CAP License application was executed and submitted and this License is a result of said application. The term of this License will be twenty-four (24) years from March 1, 2016 through February 28, 2040. This item is located in Supervisory District No. 4. (C-30-15-016-M-01)
