58. MARICOPA TRAIL AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA TRAIL AND PARK FOUNDATION Approve a Maricopa Trail Agreement between the Maricopa Trail and Park Foundation (MT+PF) and the Maricopa County Parks Department (County) for the Maricopa Trail. This agreement will establish a partnership between the County and MT+PF and will delineate authorities and responsibilities for enhancing and maintaining the Maricopa Trail, to conduct outreach, volunteer programs and events, and to include marketing/promotions that will benefit the public and the community in support of the Parks’ mission and vision and appropriate standards. This agreement also provides for the County’s Director of Parks or designee with the authority and charged with the responsibility for proper administration of the Agreement. There are no fees payable from either party to the other party for services and responsibilities as outlined in the agreement. The term of the agreement is five (5) years with a renewal option of five (5) years). This item is located in Supervisorial District 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. (C-30-16-022-M-00)

55. AMENDMENT TO THE MARICOPA TRAIL AGREEMENT Approve and execute Amendment No. 1 to the Maricopa Trail Agreement between Maricopa County and Maricopa Trail and Park Foundation (C-30-16-022-M-00) to determine the responsibilities of the Parties related to the enhancements and conservation project(s), reimburse Maricopa County up to $75,000 per annum for such project(s) as agreed to by both parties, and to exercise the 5 year renewal option, extending the term commencing June 22, 2021 through June 21, 2026. The Maricopa Trail and Park Foundation desires, and the County agrees to complete, Enhancements and Conservation projects in support of the Maricopa Trail and County parks. (C-30-16-022-M-01)
