64. ARTIFACT LOAN CONTRACT – OUTGOING WITH HUHUGAM HERITAGE CENTER FOR ARTIFACTS ON EXHIBIT AT THE DISCOVERY CENTER AT LAKE PLEASANT REGIONAL PARK Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the attached Artifact Loan Contract - Outgoing (“Agreement”) between the Huhugam Heritage Center Gila River Community on behalf of the Bureau of Reclamation and Maricopa County Parks and Recreation (“MCPRD”) on behalf of Maricopa County (“County”) for providing the loan of eighty-three (83) artifacts from the Central Arizona Project archaeological collection for exhibition at the Discover Center at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. The Central Arizona Project archaeological collection will be displayed in Maricopa County’s new Discovery Center at Lake Pleasant Regional Park to enhance MCPRD’s mission of promoting the appreciation of regional history for present and future generations and to connect the past to the present by preserving and interpreting the community's cultural and natural history. The Board will delegate authority for administrative decisions to MCPRD Director or his designee, as Representative, and the Board accepts the Director’s recommendation for appointment of the Representative in the Agreement. The Representative will be responsible for administration and inventory of the archaeological collection. The Board will authorize the MCPRD Director or his designee, as Representative, to carry out the administrative duties and inventory of the archaeological collection. The term of this Agreement will be one year (1) year from August 7, 2016 through June 7, 2017, with ten (10) one (1) year automatic renewal options.
