43. LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA GAME AND FISH COMMISSION FOR MARICOPA TRAIL SEGMENT 9. Approve a License Agreement with Arizona Game and Fish Commission for Maricopa Trail Segment 9. Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a License Agreement with Arizona Game and Fish Commission (Commission) for Maricopa County (County) to operate and maintain a portion of the Commission owned existing roadway (old 115th Avenue) in the Baseline and Meridian Wildlife Area (BMWA) for a section of Maricopa Trail Segment 9, (Trail) located 17 miles west of Phoenix at 115th Avenue and the Gila River in Maricopa County. No property interest in the use of the Trail is conveyed to the County. The County will use the licensed property for the sole purpose of providing a non-motorized recreational trail opportunity as part of the County’s Trail system and the County will only be responsible to provide maintenance of signage or other improvements placed by the County.
